Starting a Youth Mentoring Program
The Starting a Youth Mentoring Program e-learning experience was developed to provide new programs with the knowledge and tools to build a solid foundation for a quality mentoring program. Each of the ten sessions included reviews best practices for designing, launching, operating, and sustaining a quality youth mentoring program based on the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring™ Fourth Edition. In combination with other resources available to you through the OJJDP National Mentoring Resource Center, these modules will support you in increasing your knowledge, learning the skills and building the infrastructure necessary to support positive youth outcomes through mentoring.

Supporting and Inspiring Native Youth
The Supporting and Inspiring Native Youth e-learning orientation was developed to provide programs and mentors with the knowledge and tools needed to recognize the strengths and complexities of Native youth identity. You will be exposed to the landscape of Native communities understanding that there are multiple identities under the umbrella of Native youth. You will be provided an overview of Critical Mentoring, which is a concept that supports the integration of youth voice and youth context into the mentoring relationship. You will also be given helpful tools and resources to identify your own biases and dig deeper into issues affecting Native youth and communities. The ultimate goal of this orientation is to support programs and mentors in identifying opportunities to celebrate Native youth identity through and within the mentoring relationship.

Building Your Capacity for Match Support
The Building Your Capacity for Match Support e-learning experience was developed to serve as an introductory training for youth mentoring programs looking to implement match support to help mentors and mentees build positive relationships. Each of the five sessions includes strategies for implementing essential components of match support. These modules contain tools and best practices for matches, including support for matches in a virtual setting.
