We provide coaching and consulting around the Elementsof Effective Practice for Mentoring to help programs increase the efficacy of their mentoring services.
Additionally, MENTOR Georgia staff and consultants support developing mentoring nonprofits in implementing nonprofit standards of excellence so that we can ensure their sustainability, effectiveness, and reach.
Services as an Affiliate of MENTOR National
MENTOR Georgia provides professional development, leadership training, counsel on best practices, advocacy for the field, and serves as the convening agency for youth mentoring programs in all 159 counties of Georgia.
By doing this, we aim to strengthen the quality and increase the quantity of mentoring relationships for Georgia’s young people, thereby closing the mentoring gap.
MENTOR Georgia is housed at UGA’s Fanning Institute for Leadership Development, which provides statewide leadership training and facilitation for nonprofits, community groups, and young people.
