Our goal is provide additional support to the youth in our program, so they can learn to make positive lifestyle choices that will impact their future.
Program Services
We provide services to youth using practices of effective mentoring by supporting youth through one-to-one matches. Over the course of a year, mentor and mentee work with the YAD Case Manager and the YAD Supervisor to form a healthy relationship that is based on the needs of the youth. With the support of the case manager and the mentor, the program will strive to lower recidivism rates in Kerr County.
Target Population
Our mentoring services program works with youth ages 10-17 that are part of our Youth Adverted from Delinquency Program. We work with youth in Kerr County that have been referred by area school districts and Juvenile Probation.
