MENTOR Virginia provides no-cost technical assistance through the National Mentoring Resource Center to over 35 mentoring programs across the state each year on topics including program design and development, operations, and evaluation in alignment with national best practice standards.

We help programs develop mentor recruitment plans, training programs for mentors/mentees, custom evaluation tools, and more. We also support organizations to build capacity in areas related to youth voice and leadership, racial equity and LGBTQ+ inclusion, mentoring students with disabilities, and youth mental health.

MENTOR Virginia works with a variety of consultants who, together, have over 100 years of experience in the mentoring field and can provide specialized support to programs in any area of need across all program models, youth populations, and geographic settings.
