Program Overview and Background
Prevention Partnership’s AZ RISE Mentoring program is a school–based program. The AZ RISE Mentoring Program provides mentoring services to the students in the PPP’s Partnership Academy (middle school) and the Pima Partnership High School.
Program Services
Along with school–based mentoring, students also receive family strengthening programs, healthy relationship education and the opportunity to be part of youth advocacy and peer mentoring programs.
Target Population
The AZ RISE Mentoring Program serves at risk and system–involved adolescents, 12–17 years old. The PPP schools are located in the 85705–zip code that has an average poverty rate for children of 32.8%.
