  • Description of Resource:

    The PR Toolkit was developed to help youth mentoring programs boost media engagement and exposure for their cause. The kit was created by the Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota in collaboration with public relations professionals and the Partnership’s network of mentoring programs. It includes a guide to effective media strategies and customizable templates for key items, such as a PR Plan and story pitch e-mails.

    Goals:

    This resource provides programs with templates and information they can use in their marketing and PR efforts to increase public awareness of mentoring and their specific program.

    Target Population/Eligibility of Target Sites:

    This toolkit is intended for use with any mentoring program, although some of the contents may be most applicable to community-based organizations.
