Description of Resource: The E-Mentoring Supplement to the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring outlines recommendations and research-informed practices for e-mentoring programs. E-mentoring (sometimes referred to as electronic mentoring, digital mentoring, online mentoring, virtual mentoring, or computer-assisted mentoring) includes any type of mentoring that incorporates a digital technology. This guide includes an overview of program design principles for e-mentoring programs along with recommended practices and several real-life examples to show e-mentoring in action.

Goals: To provide mentoring programs with research- and practitioner-informed standards and recommendations to help develop and enhance e-mentoring programs.
