Description of Resource:  This toolkit provides lessons, tips, and specific tools that can be used to recruit, train, monitor, support and evaluate mentors working specifically with adolescent girls. The toolkit includes mentor recruitment and training strategies; activities used by mentors; mentor-retention strategies; monitoring and evaluation tools; and models for sustainability. The resources are designed for program planners, practitioners, mentor trainers and mentors.

Note: This resource was developed broadly but should be adapted to fit local context and the age of the girls in the program. Secondly, local laws on mandated reporting should be considered.

Goals:  To support programs and mentors working with adolescent girls with practical tools and program practices.
