Check out the NMRC’s new OJJDP Mentoring Grantee Geomap!

Check out the NMRC’s new OJJDP Mentoring Grantee Geomap! A Geomap is a map of a country, continent, or region, with colors and values assigned to specific regions to dynamically highlight information of interest to a user in an engaging display, using pins and hovertext. This exciting new feature on the NMRC website allows users to see the depth and breadth of OJJDPs investment in mentoring by highlighting current OJJDP mentoring grantees across the nation. Users can easily view the location of grantee national offices and local sites, as well as grantees of different category types (e.g. national, multi-state, youth impacted by opioids, etc.), using different pin types for Primary Grantee (star) and Sub-Grantee (dot). Users can filter data by year of award, program model and state. The geomap provides a visual representation of OJJDP’s investments in mentoring across the nation while enabling users to categorizing the data in useful ways.

Using the geomap, users can access relevant information about each OJJDP mentoring grantee and sub grantee through a “quick reference” profile that pops up from a selected pin on the map. Profiles can also be displayed and downloaded in PDF form on the NMRC website.
